Well it has been awhile since I (Trav) signed on and published a post. The last couple weeks have been filled with lots of emotion for Tiffany and I. We are continuing to grow in excitement as we wait for our little girl to greet us! As most of you may know, New Year's Eve was an emotional night for my family. My grandfather passed away, so last week I traveled home for his funeral. It is always tough to say goodbye to a loved one, but I know that he is in a better place and we will all see him again. Thank you Grandpa for all the great memories!
Last Saturday the Swarm Lacrosse season opened with a bang. For those of you who don't know what that is, the Swarm is a professional indoor lacrosse team that plays in St. Paul at the hockey arena. The games are fast paced, high scoring, and full of hard hits/fights! Five minutes into the game a fight broke out right in front of our seats and our player totally kicked the other guy's butt; even busting his eye open and drawing blood! It was pretty intense. During halftime we met up with another couple who we have known since college, Steve and Laura. They are expecting a little girl as well, about 6 weeks after us! It is always nice to see them and catch up and we look forward to our little girls being able to play together!
I know the post is short, but I need to get back to the grind at work. I hope you all are doing well and enjoying life! Who knows, maybe the next time we sign on to post an update, it may just be filled with a new bundle of joy!
