Silly Girls

Hi Family and Friends,

We'll just let these few pictures tell the story of our day playing together!

Pictures started off good. Both looking at the camera.
Adelaide started to lose focus.
Sydney was still hamming it up!

Sisterly love

Yummy wanted to get in on the action.
Adelaide was more intrigued with petting Yummy, Sydney was happy.

Silly little girls

Adelaide had had enough, Sydney was a happy girl still.

Sydney: "What's wrong with you?"

I'm going to tickle you

I'm going to tackle you now!

Finally regrouped - laughing at Mommy making silly sounds!

Time Flies

Hi Family and Friends,

It's been a hectic March. Mommy and Daddy have been working a fair amount. Sydney and I got to go to Grandma and Grandpa's house for a week while both Mommy and Daddy were traveling for work. We had a really good time. Granny Bus and Granny Splitt both came up to see us every day. I also got to play with my cousin Riky. Grandpa took really good care of us. He had some help with all of the visitors. Grandma stayed home from work a couple days so we could spend lots of time with her too.

New things in my life have been going to swim lessons. I really like going to lessons. The teachers have been silly. I like to jump into the water, kick and splash. I still don't like to put my ears in the water or lay on my back. Some days are better than others but I'd say I'm getting better with every lesson. Mommy says that I'm talking all the time. I just have so much to say. I need to make up for all of the time when I couldn't talk. I love to read books. I've even started to memorize some of my books. I like to "read" the books to Sydney.

Sydney has been learning new things every day. In the past month, she's discovered her hands and feet too. Lots of grabbing and playing with toys. She loves her jungle gym and playing with all of the hanging toys. She's learning how to roll over from her back to tummy and how to sit up. She loves to sit in her bumbo chair but she's an escape artist. Sydney likes to arch her back or lean all the way to the side and pop herself out of the chair. Silly baby. Before we know it, she's going to be mobile.

Here's a few recent pictures of the two of us.
Until next time,

Happy March!

Hi Family and Friends,

I can't believe that it's already March. February has been such a busy month. I gave you all a little peek into my 2nd birthday and Sydney's dedication. The past few weeks since then have been pretty eventful too.

Sydney & I both went to the doctor to get check-ups. Sydney is healthy as a horse, so am I. I got a little prick in my elbow. (Adelaide had her blood drawn.) Mommy held my shoulders and legs, while the nice lab ladies stuck me with a big needle. I was really brave. I wanted to wiggle and cry but I didn't move and just watched them as they took 2 vials of blood. The lab ladies couldn't believe that I was so good. I didn't even cry till they took the needle out of my arm. I tried to focus on the picture of the butterflies on the ceiling. Mommy and I counted them in Spanish. Sydney had to get some medicine too. I only had to get 1 shot, Sydney got 4. She did really good too. She cried for maybe a minute.

Lately our weekends have been packed with lots of things to do. Last weekend we went to see the Ice Castle at the Mall of America. It was pretty cool to see. I got to walk/crawl through different areas that were just my size. Baby Sydney loved to look up and see the tall ice. It was really big, so big that it towered over Mommy and Daddy. We've been to a few more Swarm Lacrosse games. Those are always lots of fun. We get to dance to the music, eat treats (popcorn & mini donuts) and stay up late.

Oh yeah, we also went to go take some more pictures. We got some great family shots and individuals shots too.

Hope you like the pictures!

Until next time,
Love Adelaide & Sydney (Trav & Tiff too)
