Summer Fun

Hello Family & Friends,

Well this summer has seemed to fly by. We've had so much fun with visiting family and being with Mommy & Daddy. I'm really looking forward to the rest of the summer. I have a few more weeks that I get to spend with Grandma & Grandpa and Gramy & Granpy. Both Mommy and Daddy will be traveling for work. Although Mommy won't be able to travel much past next month because of my baby sister. We're going to have to stick pretty close to home just in case something happens to Mommy. Plus we get to go to a wedding at the end of the summer. I can't wait to wear my beautiful dress. Gramy is making it specially for me.

I can't wait to meet my baby sister. She's going to be here before we know it. This is going to be a fun year at Christmas. There are going to be so many new babies. Mommy's cousin Amy, Molly, Lisa, & Kathy are all having babies. It's going to be a wild time. I love playing with all the babies at church and daycare. Hopefully my little sister will be just as fun. I know Mommy and Daddy are just as excited to meet her too.

I hope that you all enjoy the rest of your summer and stay cool. If you're anywhere around us, you know we've been dying of the heat. Mommy & I like it when it's warm but this has been just a little bit too warm. We go to the pool at home or the big outdoor pool to stay cool.

Until next time,

First Family Vacation!

Hello Family and Friends!

We made it!! It was so much fun traveling out on the big big airplane to Seattle and back home again.

Thursday night: Mommy and Daddy took me to the big airport. We parked the car and got to ride on a bus to the airport. Everything seemed like it was going as planned, we got on the plane and settled into our seats. Right before we were going to take off,  the plane turned off the tarmac and back towards the gates. We sat there for almost 2 hours. Soon after that we had to go back to the gate and get off the plane. Mommy wasn't very happy. Daddy was worried that I wouldn't be a happy girl anymore. We sat in the airport terminal for another couple hours. We were finally cleared to take off and all got back on the plane. We made it to Seattle around 1:05am. After that we went to get our bags and rental car. Daddy drove us out to the big house in the mountains. Through out the whole night, I was on my best behavior. I fell asleep on the plane, and on the car ride up to the house. Mommy and Daddy brought me into the house and I was in my comfy bed by 2:30 in the morning. It was a late night/early morning for all of us.

Friday: This was a wonderful day. We drove up to Snohomish to visit Mommy's cousin to take pictures and have dinner with family. Michelle is an amazing photographer. We had so much fun with her. She took us out to a pretty field full of wild flowers. She took pictures of us as a family, just me, pictures of Mommy and then pictures of Mommy and me & Daddy and me. I can't wait till we can see all of the pictures. Then I got to go back to the house a play with Brooklynn. She's only 1 year older than me. We had a great time playing. Aunt Judy and Uncle Steve came up from Camas to visit as well. Jerry barbecued chicken, Michelle made the onion potatoes, a garden salad and yummy cheesy bread. The dessert was the best, a fresh blueberry and pear crumble with ice cream. It was lovely kick off to our vacation.

Saturday: We had a relaxing morning. That afternoon we went to downtown Seattle to the Mariners game. We went with Nicole, Tres and Dave. It was a lot of fun. We had nice seats on the club level. It was a really great night. I made it through 6 innings. I finally had to cave in and fall asleep. Mommy cuddled me the rest of the night until we went back to the house. It was a chilly night and we call left after the 8th inning. It was a good thing too because the game ended up going into extra innings and we would have been popsicles.

Sunday: We went to church in the morning and then out to a lovely breakfast at the golf club. After that  I had to take a nap because I was too tired. Mommy and Daddy went to visit the Snoqualmie Falls. They were really pretty from the pictures that I saw. After I woke up from my nap it was time for the barbecue. All of the clan came out for the party. It was so much fun to meet everyone. I really had fun with all of the kids.

Monday: We went back to downtown Seattle. I got to see Pikes Place Market. My favorite part was when the guys threw the fishes. It was crazy to see them just fly through the air and the other guy just snatch it out of the air. We walked around the market place and saw lots of new things. After we walked around most of the market place, we all got lunch at the big cafeteria. I fell asleep on Daddy on the way up to the mall. From there we took a tram to visit the Space Needle. It was pretty awesome to be that high up in the air. It was a long but good day outside. We got a lot of fresh air. I really liked seeing all of the sights around Seattle.

Tuesday: Our day to head home. We woke up early to say goodbye to everyone before they had to go to work. I was excited to go back to the big airport. Mommy and Daddy decided to take a scenic route back to the airport. It gave me a chance to take a nap before we got the plane. We got back to the airport and this time everything went smooth. We got on the plane and it took of as scheduled! Mommy let me watch a couple episodes of Blues Clues. I love that show. When it's time for mail, I like to wail "mail"!! We also read books and colored pretty pictures.

Thanks to everyone for making our trip fabulous! Enjoy some of the pictures from our trip.
