Happy Easter

Hello Family & Friends,

Saturday Trav promised that we'd go to the zoo, so we went even though it was on the chilly side. Addie was mesmerized by the shark tank. It was so cute because she just kept staring at all the fish that swam by. Addie also liked watching the Snow monkeys as they ran around. Saturday night was the last Swarm game of the regular season. The Swarm won which was a great way to end the season. Since the team won, they will be hosting the first round of the play-offs. Addie was a little doll during the whole game. She's been going to bed roughly around the same time every night and it was no different during the game. She fell asleep at 7:50 and slept through the entire game even with all of the noise! I couldn't believe it. When we got home, she just stirred a little as I put her in her crib.

Sunday was a wonderful day. We went to the 9am service at church. It was a lovely service. Mary was there with her parents. It was nice to see her since it had been a while since we last hung out. Addie sat with Mary's mom for most of the worship time. Everyone commented on how good she is all the time. In the afternoon we went out to Mike & Jane's for dinner. As always Mike prepared an amazing meal. Jane & Mary Beth worked on the side dishes. I brought my cranberry fluff. Travis actually made the fluff. It was his first time ever making it. As he said, there was plenty of instruction from the "peanut gallery". I was taking care of Addie, so he decided to help out and make it. I must say he did a great job! Mike's menu consisted of Braised Lamb, Salad, Wild Rice and Fennel with Carrots. Dessert was Key Lime pie with coconut macaroons.

Today I had the day off because Lisa was coming home from Michigan. It was a wonderful way for me to end my long weekend. Everything about today was perfect. Addie must be going through a little growth spurt. She was a starvin' marvin and then she took a 4 hour nap after she slept for 11 hours during the night. I met a girlfriend from work and her youngest daughter to walk around Lake Normandale. We had a good time talking and walking. Plus to top it off, it was 66 degrees and nothing but blue sky & sunshine!

Hope you all had a great weekend as well.
Until next time,
Trav, Tiff & Addie

Laughter is the best medicine!

Yesterday was another wonderful day in Addie's development. She started to laugh! I was just rubbing her chest with her hands and acting all silly when she just started to giggle. I must say it is the most infectious little laugh you've ever heard. Lisa got a little video clip of it & I'm anxiously waiting to get it so I can share it with all of you.

We can't believe how big our little girl is getting! She's already up to 12.5 pounds and almost 24 inches. That's putting her at the low end of 3-6 or 6 month size clothes depending on the brand. She's only 10 weeks today!!! I think she has a lot of Mommy's genes and will be nice & tall.

Addie has been doing really well with Ms Lisa & Max. She's such a happy girl to be there. I know she loves watching Max because he's another "little" person. Max is equally really sweet with Addie. He tries to calm her down if she's upset and wants to play with her all the time. She'll be big enough to play pretty soon. We're just so blessed to have such a wonderful friend and family that we can trust to care for our daughter. Much love to the Schulz's!!!

Until next time,
Love Trav, Tiff & Addie

TGIF!

Hello Everyone,

We've had another exciting week. I'm sure by now you all know that Addie has pierced ears. She's doing great with them. She doesn't play with her ears at all so that's good. I must say she's so stinkin' cute with the earrings. Yes I can be biased.

Yesterday was our first date night. Trav & I went with Mike & Jane out to dinner and to the Orchestra. We had a lovely evening. Addie stayed with our neighbor. Casey is such a wonderful neighbor. We first met Casey when she started to pet sit for us when we were gone on vacations. We take turns watching each others animals. Anyways, Casey did a wonderful job with Addie. I honestly wasn't even worried for one second about leaving Addie with her. We've also been introduced to some wonderful teens at our church who we will have babysit Addie during the summer. It's a little difficult to have them babysit right now because they're still in school and have a curfew on the week nights. Their names are Emily & Molly. They both have lots of experience with kids and babies. Hurray for having such an awesome support system of sitters. Hopefully Trav & I will be able to have a couple dates a month to spend some quality time together.

This weekend is another weekend full of adventures. Tonight we get to see my parents and Sean before they head off to Mexico for their vacation. (I'm jealous) They'll be off in the sunshine, while we wake up to snow tomorrow morning...Yuck! Tomorrow night we're meeting our friends Jason & Sarah Merkel for the Swarm game. This will be the first time that they get to meet Addie. We're pretty excited. Also we're going to dinner at Cossetta's!! I can't wait.

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
Until next time,
Love Tiff, Trav & Addie

Things are changing!

Hello Family & Friends,

As you can tell, Mommy hasn't let me on the computer for a while. These past days have been crazy. Mommy went back to work last Tuesday. It was a little sad. Mom only cried for a couple minutes. She tried to hide it from me but I saw it. I think it would have been a lot harder for Mom to go back to work if she knew that I was going to a strange place. I'm lucky and get to go see Miss Lisa and Max every day. Lisa is one of Mommy's best friends. I really like going over there. Max is a lot of fun to watch. He likes to bring me stuffed animals and hold my hand to cheer me up when I cry. He even kisses my forehead or blows me kisses when it's time to go. Both Mommy and I couldn't ask for a better to place to be.

I also had a girl friend born last week. Her name is Brynn McKelvey Amis. Her proud Mom & Dad are Steve and Laura. McKelvey is a family name for those of you wondering. I really like her name, it's beautiful. Mommy & Daddy have known them since college. Daddy was a counselor at new student weekend when Steve was a freshman at the U of MN. Brynn came at 3:08am Saturday April 2nd. She weighed 7lb 7oz and 20.5" long. I can't wait till we're both a little bigger and can play together. We'll also be attending the Swarm games together. Next season Mommy & Daddy's tickets are right behind Steve & Laura's so we'll get to see a lot of each other. Plus we're going to try and have play dates at least once a month.

As for me, this past Sunday was my dedication at church. I was such a good girl. I fell asleep during the worship so by the time we made it on stage I was completely zonked. Pastor Brent was happy that I wasn't squirmey like the other little boy. =) Paster Brent is the senior high pastor at the church and Mommy & Daddy's neighbor. I was really proud because I had all three, yes 3, sets of grandparents there to watch me. Gramy & Granpy Raimo, Grandma & Grandpa Mlodzik, and Oma & Opa Stellmacher. After church we all went to Olive Garden for lunch. I was starting to get hot so it made be fussy for most of the lunch hour. Plus my tummy was a little upset too but I felt so much better once I threw up all over my dress & Mommy's dress too. At least the dresses can be washed up and not dry cleaned.

Today was another big day for me because it was my 2 month check up at the doctors office. Dr. Brandt says that I'm such a good girl. I'm doing lots of things that I shouldn't be. According to regular development, I shouldn't be holding my head up as good as I do. Plus I'm super-de-dooper alert and watch everything and can follow much better. I like to learn lots of new things. I've started to roll over from my tummy to my back. I did that at 7 weeks but I don't always like to roll over because it's kind of scary. It startles me when I flop over. I also want to crawl. My little legs really get going. I can kind of scoot but not enough to really crawl. Plus I haven't figured out how to move my hands with my legs. I'm sure I'll have that down pretty soon. Well back to my doctors appointment now. I did a really good job. I had 4 shots and 1 oral vaccine. I cried when the lab technician gave me my shots in the leg but I was crying harder because I needed to burp. Once Daddy burped me, I settled right down and finished my lunch. Later that night Mommy and Daddy took me to the mall to get my ears pierced. Yup that's right, I have my ears pierced like a big girl. I must say I look pretty cute. As my Great-Great Aunt Shirley says, I'm in the Fox club!! I only cried for 2 seconds when the lady pierced my ears. Mommy & Daddy were really proud of me for being so good.

Well until next time (which might be a little while depending on how often Mommy or Daddy lets me on the computer)

Love Addie (Tiff & Trav too)

Addie has a girlfriend!

Hello all,

I just thought I would take a minute to share great news about the miracle of birth once again! Our good friends Steve & Laura welcomed their daughter, Brynn, into the world at 3:08am this morning! We are so excited for them as they begin the journey of parenthood!

We look forward to our girls growing up together and being good friends as well! There will be many Swarm games, camping trips, and other outings that we will do with our families which will always be fun!

Congratulations again to Steve & Laura!

Love,

Trav, Tiff & Adelaide
