Big announcement!

Hello family and friends,

I just wanted to let you all know that Mommy and Daddy are having another baby! I'm so excited to be a big sister! It'll be a lot of fun. My baby brother or sister will be here in October. I love playing with some of our friends babies. I like looking at babies that are smaller than me. They're so fascinating. Such tiny little hands and feet. I can't stop looking at them and want to play with them. I know it'll be a little bit different with the new baby because they'll be here all the time. I have a lot of things to learn between now and then. I need to learn how to not be jealous of the new baby. I realize that I'll always be the mommy's little girl. The new baby will have a special place in her heart too. plus I need to learn how to share my room and be a good sleeper. Mommy and Daddy are thinking about moving me into a big girl bed before my brother or sister comes into the room with me. Maybe in the next 9 to 10 months I'll be ready to do it. We'll see.

The past couple of weeks have been pretty good. Mommy was gone last week, so I spent that time with Grandma and Grandpa. We had a good week after I got better. I had my first earache. It really hurt. Mommy didn't know that I hurt the first night. She sat up with me most of the night. I would fall asleep on her chest and then Mommy would try to put me back in my crib. The next day we went back to the doctor and she gave me some yummy antibiotic. I was such a good girl taking in! Mommy and Daddy were there for the first few days on my antibiotics and I didn't have a reaction, so that's good. Grandma and Grandpa gave me the rest of my antibiotics. I made a full recovery!! Hurray for antibiotics. I hope that I don't get more earaches. I don't want to have tubes out in.

I'm so excited to Mommy and Daddy tomorrow. Even though Mommy came home last night, I get to spend and extra day with Grandma and Grandpa. It'll be nice to be home again. I love spending time with all of my Grandmas and Grandpas but there's no place like home.

Hi Family and Friends,

Today is a good day. I got to spend my last day with Gramy and Uncle Sean. We had such a great week while Mommy and Daddy were gone. I actually was able to see Daddy during the week because Gramy came down to the Cities for the MN Boys State Hockey Tournament. Uncle Sean's team was playing. Unfortunately they didn't play the best and lost. Oh well, it was still fun to watch the game. So needless to say that's why I was able to see Daddy. I would bum around with Gramy and Uncle Sean during the day and then I got to sleep in my own bed at night! The best of both worlds.

Tonight is going to be even better because Daddy & I are going to be picking up Mommy at the airport! I can't wait to see Mommy. Maybe I'll surprise her by running to her and never let go!

Since my birthday not a whole lot has changed. It's just been the 3 musketeers at home. Both Mommy and Daddy have been working hard. We've had a few weekend adventures. Mommy and I went to the zoo while Daddy had to whip those pesky umpires into shape at one of the numerous training sessions. =)

I promise to bug Mommy and Daddy about putting up some of the pictures from the birthday parties. At least they let me say hi!
