Hi Family and Friends,
We hope that you had a wonderful 4th of July. We got to spend the whole week at the River. It was super fun. We got to do lots of fun things. There was a lot of hard work done that week too.
Gramy had a huge pile of black dirt/top soil mix delivered. Everyone worked really hard to spread it all around the yard. Gramy then seeded the yard and spent some of the next few days watering the whole yard. Not to mention, Gramy and Papa planted 22 different fruit trees and a bunch of blueberry and raspberry bushes. I can't wait till all everything starts to produce fruit. We'll have a few different kinds of apples, plums, cherries, pears and crab apples. I might be forgetting some but I'm only 2.
Mommy and Daddy had to go back to work for just a few days. We stayed and played with Gramy. On Tuesday, we went to our first concert in the park. It was a local country band. We had so much fun dancing and being silly.
The rest of the week and weekend, Mommy and Daddy were back up at the river. We played outside all morning between the sandbox and the little house. After our nap, we got the swim all afternoon into the evening. We swam in both our little crab pool and in the big floaties on the river. It was the perfect way to end the hot and steamy days.
