Time Flies!

Hello everyone,

We have been having so much fun over the last month, that we haven't sat down to right a blog. Sydney & I are pretty busy with daycare everyday, learning new things, and playing at night. Mommy has been given some big projects at work, which keep her busy. As for daddy, well it is tax season, so he is working late every night and usually doesn't get home until after we are in bed. He tries hard to get home a couple nights of the week to have dinner with us, but we never know when that will be and he never tells us so we can be surprised when he walks in the door.

I am trying to think what big events have happened since our last post, but I can't think of any. Oh wait, I HAD a birthday!!! It was pretty awesome to celebrate turning 3. I don't think mommy & daddy can believe that I am three already because they keep saying "where has the time gone"? My birthday weekend was even better because Grandma & Grandpa came to our house for the whole weekend. On my birthday, Grammy & Papa came for lunch with us, and Oma came over for cake & ice cream in the afternoon. I got some great presents, so thank you to everyone who either gave me a gift, sent me a card, or simply just called to wish me a Happy Birthday!

I suppose I should tell you a little about our days at daycare. Everyday we learn something new from spelling to math to science. Lately, we have been working on simple subtraction and how to spell our names. I can spell my sister's name and most of the time I get mine correct. Mommy & Daddy gave me a big name, but it is pretty and I like it a lot. I will get it soon. I have also been working on writing my name all by myself. I need a little help with some of the letters, but I am getting better each and every time I do it. Sydney is begging me to let her tell you about what she has been doing, so I am going to give her the keyboard now. aflaskdjfabvoihennahehadknlvaovinweklavoained. Ok, I will translate that for you. Sydney is starting to get a vocabulary! Some of her favorite words are mommy, daddy, and of course NO!!

Well, hopefully I have captured enough of what is going on here in the frigid North, so you know we are still doing good. Hopefully this winter will end soon because all we want to do is go outside and play! We have put some pictures below to show you what has been happening as well.

Until next time,
Love,
Adelaide, Sydney (Trav & Tiff too)
