It's been a great past couple of weeks. I just hit another milestone...my 2nd birthday! Mommy and Daddy planned a nice birthday party for me. It was actually a combined party for both Sydney & I. Sydney was dedicated at church in the morning service. All three sets of grandparents came to celebrate. Uncle TJ & Auntie Tiffany came too and brought baby Wyatt. It was very exciting to meet baby Wyatt for the first time.
Our party was held at the club house. It was great because we had lots of room to spread out and enjoy the good food and company. Mommy made chicken wild rice soup, Gramy made homemade bread and rolls and Grandma brought the salad. It was really nice for everyone to pitch in. Mommy & I made the birthday cake together. It was a strawberry cake with pink frosting and sprinkles! Mommy added a touch of strawberries around the base of the cake.
The following week, Mommy was traveling so I got to go home with Grandma & Grandpa. Baby Sydney went home with Gramy & Papa. We each had a great week. I got to play outside with Grandpa. We went sledding down the hill. I also got to help Grandpa fill up all of the bird food. Sydney had a good time with Gramy. They went to visit Nammy & all of the ladies at the Pines. They loved seeing her. Sydney had fun playing with Uncle Sean. They spent hours playing with cars and just talking to each other. Everyone came home on Friday night. We all went out to a nice fish dinner. I had to go to bed but Daddy promised that he was going to pick Mommy up at the airport. Sydney got to see Mommy that night, and I woke up to see Mommy first thing in the morning.
Saturday was a good day because we all went to swimming lessons. Grandma & Grandpa got to watch me swim. This was the first time that we got to wear life jackets and ride in the big canoe.
Thanks to everyone for all of the wonderful birthday gifts. Mommy said she's working on sending out cards. Enjoy some of the new pictures.
