Time Flys!

Hello Everyone,

I hope that you are all having a great summer! It's been a change having Addie, in tow to remember that even though I love the heat, she can get overheated much faster. We had that nasty heat wave here last week. Every day it was in the 90's but the heat index put it around 110's!! We made it through.

Well this upcoming week will be the first time that I (Tiff) travel for work. I'm looking forward to it. I'm excited to go but a little nervous at the same time. I know that Addie will be just fine but we haven't been apart since she was born. It'll be a change for Trav too because I wake up in the mornings with Addie and Trav's not a morning person. =) It'll be a great experience for all of us! As for the new job, everything is going well. There's a lot of manual computer work in looking at the pharmacies that I'll be auditing. All in all, I like the job. It challenges me and I was a little overwhelmed at first but I'm good for right now.

There have been a few changes with Addie since our last blog. She's growing like a weed! This week she will be 6 months!! I can't believe that half a year has already gone by! Addie has been doing great eating new foods. Right now her two favorites ate applesauce and avocados. I can't wait to give her lots more and to expand her palette. We're also working on her sitting. She sits supported really well. Addie loves to sit on the bed with us in the morning and "pet" Yummy. She grabs her ears, tail and whiskers, pulls her hair and all around startles Yummy with her squeals and sudden movements. I must say that Yummy puts up with a lot and hasn't even growled at her once! Addie has sat by herself for a few seconds before she topples over. Addie is also working on rolling over from her back to her tummy. She prefers to lay on her side so she just stops there. She sleeps on her side every night.

Well if you think of us this week, say a little prayer for all of us...for me to have a safe trip, for Trav to have a good week and for Addie to be a good girl for Daddy!
