Tomorrow I take one more step towards my dream of being a pharmacist. I take my PCAT, pharmacy entrance exam, in the morning. The exam starts at 8:30 and will last about 4-5 hours long. There are 6 different categories...Reading Comprehension, Verbal Ability, Quantitative Analysis, Biology, Chemistry & 2 essay questions. I think that no matter how much I prepare for these exams, I always psych myself out. I haven't been a strong standardized test taker in the past but maybe this will be the year that it all changes. Although the PCAT is only part of the application process, there is a large amount of focus on what percentile I fall in. The test isn't really graded on a pass/fail scale...it's actually gives the results as saying I did better than a certain percentage of people. The goal would to be on top in the 99th percentile but being realistic it would be great to be around 75-80%. That would be an improvement from the last time I took these exams 3 years ago. I'm just praying that if I meant to be in school, it'll happen. So if you remember tomorrow while I'm at my exam, just say a little prayer for me. Thanks!!
Other than the test, I'm really looking forward to the rest of the weekend. Travis & I are going to a comedy tomorrow night at a local theatre. Neither one of us know anything about the show, we just thought it will be fun to go do something different. Sunday we have church and then we're headed to the giant Severs corn maze with friends! If you've never seen the Severs corn mazes, take a look at their website. This year is a tribute to the MN Vikings 50th season. Skol Vikings!
Have a wonderful weekend,
Tiff
