The Mlodziks: Easter and Beyond

Hello all,

Sorry it has been so long since we posted, but the weather is finally nice again so we have been spending a lot of time outside. We had a great Easter weekend. Mommy & Daddy went to the Swarm game on Saturday night with Uncle Kyle and Jaxon. We stayed home with a babysitter so we wouldn't be so tired on Sunday for Easter. When we woke up, mommy and daddy told us that they thought a bunny might have come into the house during the night. We were so excited to hunt for our Easter baskets! Mine was hidden under my bed and Sydney's was on the rocking chair in her room. Once we found our baskets, it was time for church. I had a lot of fun because I got to go on an Easter egg hunt during service. After our naps, it was time to go out to Oma's & Opa's house for our traditional lamb dinner. The afternoon was very fun, we had an egg hunt outside, played some games, Mary Beth helped blow bubbles, coloring all over the sidewalks and read some books with Oma while Daddy & Opa grilled the food.

The weekend after Easter Grandma & Grandpa came up to visit. Mommy & Daddy got to show off our freshly trimmed trees and Grandpa brought a saw up to help Daddy trim a few more branches. We had a weekend full of fun that included a Swarm game, playing outside, shopping, and putting in rain barrels. As always it is a blast when Grandma & Grandpa come to visit.

Other things we have done since our last post include; going to the cabin for fishing opener (even though Daddy & Papa only caught one fish total), having a great Mother's day with Mommy, and a movie date night with Mommy. We went to see Rio 2 while Daddy went turkey hunting. Unfortunately, he didn't get a turkey, but he still had a good time trying. Helping Mommy plant flowers too!
