Hello everyone,
I hope everyone is enjoying their summer so far! I sure love this time of year. So far, I think my favorite part of summer is going wimming (swimming) and winging (swinging) at the park! I haven't figured out how to say s's yet, but mommy and daddy have figured out what I am saying! Last Friday, mommy took the afternoon off of work so we could go to the big outdoor pool that is in Bloomington. Ms. Mary joined us for an afternoon in the sun and we had a blast. The pool there has a zero entry, so I was able to just walk right into the water all by myself! It was a lot of fun playing on and sliding down the turtle that is there for little kids as well.
I continue to get better at the whole walking thing as well. I really enjoy chasing the kitty around the house. I am not so sure that she likes me chasing her though because sometimes so goes to hide under the table, but to me it is a really fun game to chase her, so I follow along and play! I have done so many fun things this summer that I can't even remember everything we have done. To name a few of my favorites so far, I would have to say sitting out on the deck at night blowing bubbles ranks right up at the top of the list. Mommy and I have gone to a lot of baseball games to watch daddy umpire. It is fun to watch daddy umpire because I will stand right at the fence behind home plate and yell "daddy, daddy" at him until he turns around and waves at me.
Tomorrow is going to be a very exciting day for me. We are going to Seattle to visit family! Mommy and daddy told me that we are going to go on an airplane and fly like the birdies! I see them all time flying over us (because we live close the the airport), but I have never been on one yet, it should be a good time. Hopefully my ears won't bug me too much! I will have lots to do though, like watching people in the airport, walking with my frog backpack, and watching Blues Clues on the Ipad (mommy bought the shows for me because I like to watch it at daycare!). We have lots of fun things planned for our trip as well. We are going to take some family pictures with mommy's cousin, go to a baseball game, have a family BBQ, go to Pike's Place and watch them throw fish, and go up the Space Needle. I'm sure mommy and daddy will post some pictures once we get back home.
Well, I better get back to playing with my friends at daycare now. This will most likely be my last time on the computer until after the 4th of July, so hopefully you all enjoy the holiday! Please be safe and keep all ten fingers on your hands!! (Daddy told me to say that!)
Love,
Adelaide
